This month Marcus turned fourteen years old, we celebrated at home with him. School has been mixed this month, some of the work has been a struggle for Marcus and this has shown in his test results. Soccer has been consistent this month and Marcus has been a valuable player for his team. The buildup to Halloween was very low key for Marcus, but when the day came he realized that he needed the free sugar and quickly dressed up and went out with his good friend Luca.

Sophie seems to be quite comfortable in middle school this month, and although she seems to never do any homework she seems to always be on top of what she needs to do. Both soccer and swim have been going well and Sophie seems to be enjoying both. Girl Scout outing to the farm maze was a lot of fun and Sophie came away with a few stories of some scary dude who the group of girls stood up to.
