Marcus really enjoyed our trip out to Glaciers, he got to show off his speed hiking skills and had the chance to eat a lot of different food. On the trip I think that his favorite activity was making rock cairns which he works really hard at. Once back from the trip we sent Marcus off to sleep away camp to work off his jet lag. When I picked him up from camp the counselor told me that he had been going incognito under the name David for the week; David had a wonderful time. To kick off the Soccer season his team played in a tournament and played really hard.

Sophie

Sophie really enjoyed being out in Glaciers although the long car journeys were sometimes hard for her to handle. She hiked really well and seemed to enjoy spending the time singing while we hiked (to avoid bear encounters). She tried lots of new foods and was often heard giggling away. I think that her favorite part of the trip may have been kayaking on Swiftcurrent Lake. Back from our trip Sophie played in the DNST soccer tournament and her team were runners up in their bracket. We got to spend the day with the DelaRosa family at the outdoor pool and Sophie got to try her hand at the batting cages.
