It's been a busy month for Marcus with lots and lots of time in the pool. Summer swim has been going very well and he has been very competitive in his races. Marcus even managed to get gold medal in the Champs & All Stars competition in three events. There has not been much soccer this month and we have had a lot more time to do family things, which has been really nice. Camps have been going pretty well this month although some have been "just OK".

50M Free: 34.31s - 50M Back: 51.79s - 50M Fly: 47.38s - 50M Breast: 44.20s - 100M IM: 1:27.66s

Summer camps this month:

Fairfax Collegiate two weeks – Good but seemed to be a lot of just playing
Paddle & Explore - His favorite so far, lots of time on the river & getting muddy
Mini Economics - At Oak Hill with Mrs. O'Malley, Marcus really liked this camp

Sophie

Sophie the fish had a great time this month at summer swim, she did very well in her races and got a lot of points for our team. She seemed very happy to see her summer swim friends and to hang out at the pool. She was nervous about going away to sleep away camp but I think that this turned out to be her favorite camp so far.

Summer camps this month:

YMCA Aquatics - Sophie was queen of the pool, and probably didn't benefit from the swimming
Art camp - She enjoyed this camp with a few of her friends
Girl Scout camp in Stafford VA - This was a cool sleep away camp with her good friend Gabby
Mini Economics - Spending time with Marcus, Sophie seemed to enjoy this camp a lot
