Lots of cool stuff happening this month for Marcus, soccer has been going well and his team is joint top of the standings in their division. Hanging out at Sammy's bar mitzvah was a big highlight and Marcus seemed to have a blast playing with the other kids at the party afterwards. Our Spring Break trip to England was fun for Marcus too and he got to spend time with a lot of people that he doesn't see often enough. School continues to be the sore point in his life and the workload doesn't seem to be getting any easier but the end of the year is getting nearer. Having Grandma, aunt Nien-Chien & uncle Holmes come visit us was a big highlight later in the month and Marcus got to enjoy lots of his favorite foods.

Sophie

April was a cool month for Sophie, her soccer team has been doing well and she continues to be a strong member of the team. She has continued to work really hard at swimming and seems to be getting reasonably comfortable with the early mornings (even the 5-7am Saturdays). Sophie had a blast in England during Spring Break and was very friendly to everyone that we visited, even if she couldn't understand them sometimes. She did well visiting different places in England even if at times she wasn't too interested in what she was looking at. A visit from aunt Nien-Chien has always been one of Sophie's favorite things, so to have grandma & Uncle Holmes there too was very special. School has been running smoothly for Sophie and although she still is not a huge mathematics fan she has learned to work through it.
