Marcus' month has been pretty eventful; he started the month by having his 12^th birthday party at an Escape Room in Herndon, where he, and a bunch of his friends tried to escape the room by solving a series of clues. Although they didn't manage to escape, they had a lot of fun trying. Soccer went well and his team ended up being 2^nd in the division, which means that they will be going up a division for the Spring. We had a few Pokemon Go related walks in parks in the area, which we all seemed to enjoy (all for different reasons). One weekend Marcus decided that he wanted to go fishing so we headed down to E.C. Lawrence park to fish at the pool (nothing was caught). School work has continued to be difficult this month and Marcus still needs to get himself more organized with his work load.

Sophie

Sophie's month has been full of activities; she played her last series of soccer games of the season and then her team played in the Hunt Country tournament, and played great despite the very temperamental weather. Swimming has continued strong and our little swimmer has been working really hard every time she enters the pool. School work has been good and although we don't often see what she has been doing in class, we haven't heard of any problems. Sophie really enjoyed visiting DC this month and the botanical gardens, but maybe that was because it was warm on a cold day.
