This month Marcus turned 12 years old, and in many ways he is getting more and more mature, but in other ways he has been struggling. School work has be a problem this month, partly due to the large increase in the work that he has been given and partly due to bad time management. There have been multiple times when we have been up late with him to finish a project that he had forgotten about. Soccer and swimming have been going well and Marcus has been putting a lot of effort into both of these areas. For his birthday this month Marcus got a phone, which he was super excited to receive, he also got to go to the National Aquarium with Nien for a day of fun. Halloween was exciting for Marcus, who dressed as a zombie and walked around the neighborhood with his good friend Luca.

Sophie

Soccer has continued to go well for Sophie this month and in swimming she has managed to break many of her personal bests. School has been going great and Sophie is really enjoying Mrs. Weider's class this year, she seems to have been doing well in class and although some of the mathematics has been a challenge for her this month she has managed to work through it all. Halloween saw Sophie running around the neighborhood as a scary zombie, with a large bag of sweets and a smile on her scary face.
