Lots of swimming this month for Marcus and for the first month in quite some time there was no soccer. Swim team went well and Marcus put in a lot of effort in his swim races and got some really good results. Strings camp was a little too sedate for Marcus and we will have to think hard next year if we want him to do it again, on the positive side of the camp his cello playing improved and the class performance was spectacular. Later in the month Marcus complained about a very sore back and we took him into the emergency room to get it checked out. No bones out of place and no UTI, so just muscle spasms (maybe from all of the swimming).

Again this month swimming has been a highlight for Sophie and she has been doing really well in her swim meets. Most of her races have been a little too easy for her and she has suffered a little from a lack of strong competition this summer. Sophie has been on some super fun camps this month and went away to two sleep away camps. This was a new thing for Sophie but she seemed to enjoy being away and handled it just great.

Total Futbol Soccer Overnight - Her first ever sleep away camp, Sophie had a blast, and returned home super tired
Clay Cafe - She seemed to enjoy this camp, and outlet for her creativity
WMACS Residential - 2nd sleep away camp, this time with her friend Gabby
