Soccer and school both went well for Marcus this month, and swimming is getting better and better with each practice. With a large chunk of the month taken up with our trip to the Southwest there was a lot of fun things that Marcus had a chance to do. Repelling, hiking on some perilous heights, boat rides and canyons. Marcus did great on our trip and was really helpful in all of the activities that we did.

Sophie

Sophie is our little fish and had a blast this month swimming both at practices and during a swim meet, where she got a few new personal bests. Soccer has been going OK with her new coach (coach Trey) and although the results have not been the best, Sophie and her team have been putting in a lot of effort. While on our Southwest trip Sophie was a real trooper, she didn't complain about any of the hiking and her good humor and wit were a real pleasure. We were very proud of Sophie when she completed the repelling, which she seemed very nervous about.
Sophie's most played song this month was Neil Young's "Old Man"
