Although Marcus was getting wilder and wilder during the summer break from school he managed to hold things together for the last week when we headed down to Williamsburg to visit Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. This short trip was a blast and Marcus had a really great time riding the roller coasters and playing on the water slides. Soccer has filled a lot of Marcus' time and he seems to be doing really well in his team this year with his new coach. School started back and Marcus quickly got back into the routine, his teacher this year is Mrs. Glass and he seems to be enjoying school a lot. Morning swimming started this month and this has been good for Marcus' stroke, although the early mornings have been difficult.

Sophie

Sophie, like Marcus did start to get a little wild during the summer (lack of routine) and for her this meant that she would often speak back to her (loving and understanding) parents very rudely, and her stubbornness was taken to new heights. Sophie loved all of her summer camps this year and during her last week that we spent with her she had blast. For someone who can be scared of so many things she is a roller coaster fanatic and loved the fastest and highest of the coasters at Busch Gardens. Her soccer team this year with coach Sean have been improving a lot and Sophie has been doing really well during her games. Sophie has been really enjoying morning swim and her stroke is really nice to watch. School started back in Mrs. More's class for Sophie and so far she seems to be doing great.
