Marcus

It's been an odd month for our big boy, much of the early month was dominated by snow and bad weather and Marcus was a big help with dealing with the snow. About half way through the month soccer practices stopped being cancelled and getting back on the field was good exercise although all of the boys on his team looked to be out of shape. School seems to be going OK but this year we are very short of feedback from Marcus' teacher. We have seen some boy attitude this month and maybe this is a sign of things to come, but we hope not. Marcus completed a work 'electronics' project this month which he did using LEGO and did pretty much all of the work himself. Marcus spending some time taking photos of the birds in our yard and really seems to enjoy this.

Sophie

This month we got a few bad reports from school about Sophie, both were to do with how messy her desk is and how she has too many books, I suppose that as bad reports go this isn't so bad, but we will need to keep checking on her. Swimming is going well and Sophie managed to get a few personal bests in a swim meet during this month: 1:35 for the 100m free, . Sophie managed to get her creative side on a lot this month, partly with school work and partly with the extra time that she got to spend at SACC (School Age Child Care), with her bff Gabby. Soccer is due to start at the end of the month and we are excited to see how Sophie does this year. As with Marcus we have had some attitude issues with Sophie tthis month, hopefully it is related to the changing weather.
