The never ending winter has continued this month and with it there have been a lot of days off from school and not much soccer to be played. School seems to be going pretty well but we are missing the feedback that we got in the third grade. The Cub Scout sleepover at the Winchester Discovery museum was a super fun event for Marcus at the start of the month, where he got to run around and have fun with a lot of his friends. Later in the month he also got to attend the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold event. Although the snow has stopped a lot of things it also gave Marcus the chance to get lots of snow time in with sledding pretty often, and snowballs flying regularly.

Sophie

Sophie got to enjoy a lot of the things that we did this month, one especially great thing is that with missing a lot of school Sophie got to stay in bed for an extra long time. This month gave Sophie some quality time playing in the snow and she often came into the house with a rosy red check and a huge grin on her face. School and swimming have both been going great this month, although Sophie is hard to get out of bed, she becomes a working machine when she gets into the pool or school. Even though Chinese New Year celebrations were cancelled due to the weather at Chinese school Sophie still got to celebrate when we headed down to DC to see the parade in Chinatown.
