December 2014 we took our second big trip of the year to California and Hawaii, we spent a few weeks with the Grinyer family and all had a great time.

Marcus

You know it's an odd month when one day you are playing in the sun on the beach and the next day you are sledding on the neighborhood hill in the cold. Marcus seems to have adjusted to regular life pretty well although there were a few nights that were tough after just getting back. Sports have been pretty slow this month with most practices cancelled due to the weather and only getting to play soccer at his weekly (indoor) game. We have been trying to complete a 3 mile run each week with Marcus, and he's been doing ok with them albeit a little begrudgingly. Mid month Marcus took part in the 4^th grade strings recital and did a great job at it.

Sophie

Age	8 Years 8 Months

Height	4′ 4″

I think that Sophie misses the relaxation of Hawaii more than the rest of us and coming back home may have been a big bump. It's been a tough month to get her motivated to do school work and Chinese work has been more frustrating than ever. Swimming has been going great and she continues to give her best when she's in the pool, she even gained a new personal best in the backstroke and breaststroke. She also had a blast at the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby on the 30^th where she got to race some of Marcus' old cars with her BFF Gabby.
