The big 10 came this month on the 6^th and Marcus really had a fun time. He had Grandma Bea and Aunt Nien-Chien in town to help him celebrate and he got a lot of gifts that he really likes. Soccer has been going well and as the season continues he seems to be getting stronger and more skilled, on the 18^th we went with the team to watch DC United play and had a blast watching the exciting game. Schools is going well and besides the time constraints that we have with soccer and homework things do seem to be progressing in the right direction. Halloween was a big highlight this month because Marcus got to join both the early parade and then later to meet up with a couple of his good friends (Ryan & Aiden) to make candy raids on some of the best houses.

Sophie

A month when Sophie gets to see her aunt Nien-Chien is always a good month. Soccer has been going reasonably well and Sophie has been working really hard on the field with her team. Swimming has been consistent and Sophie does really well with the demands of her training sessions. School has settled down this month and Sophie seems to be behaving nicely in class. Damian went with Sophie on a school trip to Riverbend Park and had a fun day walking with the class. Halloween was super fun for Sophie and she got to spend some time with some of her good friends Faith, Rachel, Emi, and Gabby.
