Marcus started his 4^th Grade in Mr. McGorty's class which looks to be a lot of fun. He has more homework this year but other than that things seem to be going well. Marcus started playing the cello at school this year which means that he has to be driven into school every Friday for music class (the cello is too big to take on the school bus). Soccer has been going well and Marcus is on a travel team that is challenging him and helping him to be a better player, he works really hard and we are seeing good results from his play. With the nice weather this month we have been spending a lot of time outdoors and Marcus has really been enjoying this.

Sophie

Sophie started her 3^rd Grade in Mrs. Barnes' class; she seems to be doing well although she has already got a few things that she needs to work on with her behavior. Homework doesn't seem as much as Marcus' was getting last year but it may increase as the year goes on, the work is more challenging for Sophie and she will need to work hard this year. Soccer has been going really well for Sophie and she is really doing well on her team. She is getting fasters and more aggressive with her play and getting some really good results. Swimming also started back up this month for Sophie and she really like to be our family 'little fish'. Sophie has also been spending some time playing the piano and she is improving a lot with her play.
