With the weather warming up Marcus has been spending more and more time outside; riding his bike, practicing basketball, and helping repair our broken fence. Sporting activities this month have included soccer, track practice and meets, and rock climbing. Junior LEGO league culminated early this month in a demonstration and judging of the LEGO model house that Marcus' team had created, I think that he enjoyed LEGO league a lot. Marcus had a good time visiting the cherry blossoms in DC and although I don't think that he was too into the trees he had a blast racing around the Jefferson Memorial and shaking blossoms from the trees.

Sophie

Sophie completed her Junior LEGO league this month and demonstrated (with her team) the cell phone models that they had created for the project to show cell phones from the past, present, and future. Sophie enjoyed visiting the Cherry Blossoms a lot, there was a point where the blossoms were falling so hard of the trees that it was like snow, Sophie seem to enjoy this enormously. Sophie showed the most improvement of any of us while rock climbing this month, at first she was a little timid and would only climb a third of the way up the wall, but by the end of the day she managed to climb all the way to the top. As an early birthday present, Sophie got a bike and we hope that this will give her enough time to get used to riding it before her triathlon in May. Track is going well for Sophie and she is quite the little runner, often in the leading pack of runners in her races.
