What a chilly month January has been and this has lead to a lot of time indoors. Lots of board games and lots of keva block building. School has been going really well this month but Marcus does need to pay a little more attention to what needs to be done with his work before going ahead and blasting through it. The scout Pinewood Derby was a lot of fun this year and Marcus's car ran pretty well and got a design alarm. Marcus has been doing well at basketball this month and his efforts have really started to pay off. Marcus did great on the long drive to Florida for our Disney Cruise. The cruise was a lot of fun for him, he loved meeting the Disney characters, doing the ships detective search, playing on the beach, and going to kids club with friends.

Sophie

Sophie's Month has been filled with fun and friends. With the days slowly getting a little longer it has been a little easier to get Sophie out of her warm duvet cocoon in the mornings. School has been going super well for her and she is always leaving us lots of little notes and cards saying that she loves us, which is great. Basketball is been going well although sometime we think that Sophie thinks that she is just hanging out with friends instead of a game going on. Dance has also been a fun time for Monday nights and again a chance to get together with her friends. The Disney cruise was a whole lot of fun for Sophie; she was super excited about meeting the Disney characters (especially the female ones), playing on the beach, and going to kids club with her girl friends.
