What a super month for our whole family, Nien got to travel with friends to Paris and Rome to explore, shop, eat and drink. Damian got a surprise party for his 40^th birthday. Marcus got to play in the all stars soccer tournament. Sophie got to have a sleepover with some of her best friends and to do some of her favorite things.

School has been going well for Marcus this month; he has been working really hard on his reading and absolutely loves to have a book to read in his spare time, his current book is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Chinese school has been lighter than normal this month with two weeks off, and we didn't practice as much as we should have done. At the all stars soccer tournament Marcus held his own and was a strong part of the team for the two day event despite the cold mornings and all of the racing around.

Sophie has had a few too many late nights of fun this month; and this has led to a few moments of big girl attitude from our little girl. Sleepover and party for Emi's birthday was a highlight for Sophie and she has been having a lot of fun during November. School has been going really well for Sophie and all the reports that we get back are very positive indeed. She seems to really be enjoying her time in Miss Klein's class and has lots of friends at school. With the colder mornings it has been harder and harder to get Sophie out of her warm cozy bed to face the day, maybe she's a night owl at heart.
