Marcus

Marcus had a blast visiting China, lots of food to eat, places to visit and even a little bit of speaking Chinese. I'm not sure that the history of China was that impressive for Marcus but on the whole he had a really good trip. A huge change for Marcus this month was his dental implant, which makes him sound very different; we've been tightening the implant every few days to increase the pressure on his teeth. On the 13^th with newly installed dental implant Marcus took part in the 1st grade Americans performance with his class and did a great job.

Sophie

Sophie really had a fun time while we were visiting China; she did great walking around all of the places that we visited and was really great at entertaining herself while travelling in the bus between tour locations. Back from our trip meant back to the routine of life in Virginia, soccer, school, art, etc; all of which took some adjustment to get back in to. There were quite a few play dates in April that Sophie really enjoyed, and she had plenty of chances to get her full girlishness on with some of her best friends. Sophie's bike riding skills improved this month with lots of chances for us all to get on our bikes. The Daisy's father and daughter dance was a lot of fun and when Sophie got started (she was a little shy at first) it was hard to tear her from the dance floor.
