Marcus

Busy month for Marcus, there have been birthday parties to go to, he joined the boy scouts and lots of fun things to do both inside and out. Marcus was a trooper while we walked around the busy streets of New York, and really enjoyed the variety of food that we got to eat while we were there. In school Marcus has been doing great and has been staying out of trouble, his reading is improving quickly and he seems to really enjoy reading books, although not by himself, yet.
Off course the best part of the month for Marcus was his birthday, we had a small celebration at home and he had a party at school. For Halloween Marcus was a Mummy.

Sophie

Sophie has had a month full of up's and downs, she had a hard time with the walking while we were in New York and it wasn't till we got back that we found that she was still feeling under the weather. There has been a lot of coughing coming from her room and despite a visit to the Doctors office it took the majority of the month for her to start feeling herself again. She has been really enjoying her art class and her drawings are really beautiful. Soccer has had an up and down month too, with many games being cancelled due to bad weather. School has been going great for Sophie and she seems to really enjoy her time there, even though she has a hard time telling us what she does each day. Halloween meant that she got a chance to dress up in all of the costumes in our costume box, before deciding that we needed to get her a Princess Tiana (from 'Princess and the frog') costume.
