Marcus has had an up and down month, there have been some really high moments where he has shown great concentration, and there have been times when he has tested the patience of the rest of us. Early in the month he helped us to cut down our Christmas tree and was helpful when we put up the decorations on the house. He showed us his listening skills by getting his red belt in Tae Kwon Do and his patience by completing his 2nd LEGO truck. When we made it out to the West coast Marcus absolutely loved some of the things that we did. The beach and the zoo were his main highlights and he has lots of stories about both.

Sophie

Age	4 Years 7 Months

Height	3′ 6″

Sophie has shown us her new reading superpowers this month; she has surpassed her big brother and can sound out words really well. Chinese school is going well and her pronunciation and tone is good but there is still some room for improvement. Sophie took part in the school ballet recital on the 17^th and did a really good job with the dances, despite having to stop and giggle with the other girls a few times. In Tae Kwon Do Sophie achieved her green belt after showing Master Adam all of her moves. Sophie loved going to San Diego, the beach the people the animals the sunshine were all part of the things that she enjoyed about the West coast.
