Wow, another really busy month as we come closer to the end of summer, we managed to squeeze a few really good trips into our weekends and a lot of fun all throughout the month. We got to hear lots of live music, visit some cool waterparks and try some fun outdoor pursuits. All this said, we are looking forward to the more structured September and a little time to take it easy. Niens garden has been producing a lot of food still and we have often had meals made entirely from what she has grown.

Marcus

Marcus has had a wonderful month jam packed with some of his very best things, he got to spend quality time with some of his best buddies and also got to experience some new places and things to do. During the week Marcus spent his days at Tea Kwon Do camp where his skills are developing well and he seems to be getting quite toned. Visiting New York was a blast for our little explorer the sounds, sights, smells and tastes of the big city were not lost on him. Camping has brought out the outdoors kid in Marcus; whether it be lighting a fire, roasting smores, or hunting for bear with his home made bow and arrow. The weekends away however did come at a cost with Marcus, it seems that after a weekend of no discernible routine and late nights he isn't the best listener for a few days after we get back.

Sophie

Height	3′ 5″

Not enough princess time for our little girl this month and although she really enjoys the time spent with the boys (who she bosses around) we think that she still prefers that precious time spent on being a girl. Sophie has been a superstar on our trips with her walking for hours on end and really helping us (sorry about the wrong turn on the Brooklyn Bridge). The beach was what I think Sophie will remember most from this month where she simply loved splashing in the water with her painted nails and playing in the sand. During the day she has been spending her time at the Montessori Children's Center with their summer schedule of fun activities.
