Our big boy has had an interesting month; he is the one of us who suffered least from sickness this month, although he did get a bit of a cold at one point. Marcus really enjoyed having his Grandma here early in the month and was happy to be able to celebrate her birthday with us. Soccer season ended this month and with it the Saturdays on the pitch with Coach Dave and Coach Dad. Marcus especially enjoyed seeing the ICE sculptures at national harbor despite the coldness in the tent. This month we started reading with Marcus on some of his development books and he seems to be taking to it well. Chinese class is quite challenging this year and we have noticed some problems with paying attention for the two hour class, despite this he seems to be doing OK and especially likes standing up to present in front of the class.

Our little girl has fluctuated between little stubborn bossy boots and an angel this month, too often we have seen her sit down in the drive because she doesn't want to use her legs, and scream at us because she doesn't like what we say. As is becoming the norm, Marcus seems to be the one who knows best how to deal with her, what manual did he study? Sophie seemed to really enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving and helping to make Dads birthday memorable. A big achievement this month for her little legs was to hike Weverton Cliffs without the need to be carried (she did ask).
