We found lots of fun things to do this month; we managed to get lots of outside time (this seems to be our goal) and enjoyed some great weather. On the 16th and 17th Damian took part in the dragon boat festival in DC, the event was really enjoyable although very tiring. The ECS dragon warriors (Damian's team) managed to get a gold medal in their division, which was an added bonus. Later in the month we took a trip out to the strawberry patch where we managed to eat a lot and yet end up with near empty fruit boxes. At the very end of the month we took part in the relay for life 24hour walk for the Cancer Society, this was fun, although the late night for the kids had repercussions, that weren't as much fun.

Things that Marcus loved this month: 1) Shooting Sophie with bubbles, 2) eating strawberries in the field, 3) Riding his bike around the neighborhood, 4) taking a serious bubble bath in the Jacuzzi, 5) celebrating Sophie's birthday, 6) completing the mile in track class, 7) cheering Dad on at the dragon boat races, 8) playing in the woods with his friends at Saideep's birthday.

Things that Sophie loved this month: 1) Becoming three (what a big step), 2) having a party at the farm with some of her friends, 3) going to the neighborhood pool, 4) traveling on the metro to DC, 5) watching the rolling thunder, 6) getting to wear summer dresses, 7) Running up and down the bleachers at the relay for life, 8) eating strawberries in the field.
