At the start of March we said goodbye to Mrs. Wu and welcomed home Damian from his mission trip to Florida. Early on the month was a little chilly so we spent a lot of our time indoors and only ventured out when we thought that we could survive the cold winds. By contrast, in the middle of the month we spent our 'Spring Break' vacation on the Gulf side of Florida in the sun and relaxing on the beach. A pattern that we have noticed during recent vacations is that by the end of the vacation the kids are more and more unruly, we guess that this is the lack of structure in the days, but it may just be that we are bad at being parents, who knows.

Marcus
Age3 Years 5 Months
Weight38.6 lb
Height3′ 3″
Marcus' month has been filled with some of his favorite things, walking barefoot on a sandy beach, throwing rocks at birds, racing the big waves up the beach, getting close to dangerous animals, and playing soccer. He started a new soccer class this month and seems to be enjoying it. His one big achievement this month is that he has been learning to ride a bike, we put training wheels on for him and he took to riding the bike up and down the street straight away. Hopefully this will develop quickly for the warmer months.
Sophie
Age1 Year 10 Months
Weight29 lb
Height2′ 9″
Sophie has spent the month practicing her acquisition skills and when Marcus refuses to give her what she wants she has been exercising her vocal skills. She has started to be a little fussy with her food and is a great imitator of her big brother, which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. She seemed to enjoy our trip to Florida and especially liked being carried around to see the alligators. Her mechanical skills caused us problems in Florida when she managed to break our rental car, OK that's just speculation, but she was the last one in the driver's seat.
