Marcus

Marcus has been a well behaved little boy this month, and has been practicing his growing vocabulary and powers of reasoning. He has settled very well into his new class at school and seems to be blossoming there. His character is that of an independent male who is contented with his own company and can be shy around others. Marcus seems to have really enjoyed the company of Joshua and Ethan this month although there have been moments of conflict between Marcus and Joshua, these seem to have been instigated by both boys at different times.

Sophie

Sophie's month has been one of exploration and a lot of new words, she is getting much better at copying what we say to her and has decent pronunciation, her Chinese is not as good as her English so far. Her painting at school is already up to the level of Marcus and we think that if she continues she will surpass us in less than a year, it's true that we are not a very artistic family.

Joshua

Joshua has been a good boy this month. He enjoyed meeting more cousins at Steve's Uncle Dennis's 80^th birthday party in Bognor Regis and he's also enjoyed staying with his cousins Sophie and Marcus and Uncle Damian and aunt Nien-Chie in America. Most of the time they all play well, although Joshua and Marcus sometimes squabble.

Ethan

Ethan's main achievement this month has been with his potty training. Sas started training him at the beginning of the month and now he's pretty much got it; only wearing nappies for night-time, and a couple more dry nights and we'll try him at night without a nappy too. His speech is coming along quickly, probably because he has Joshua to talk to, and he can make 4-word sentences. He also copies his older brother a lot, so if Joshua starts bouncing on his chair, you can be sure Ethan will start too. He's also likes giving Mum & Dad lots of kisses!
