The yellow dry fibrous strands that now stand where our green lawn used to be are a testament to the sunshine and heat that we've been under this month. We have been trying to make the most of the nice weather with lots of outdoor stuff and have been enjoying ourselves no end. Our new neighbors, the bats in our bat house, are dealing with our mosquitoes pretty well, now we just need to train them to eat those dare deer ticks. We joined our local neighborhood pool this month and have made a few excursions to the cool refreshing waters, now all we need to do is to learn is how to hang out there for more than an hour.
