December 2006

There were a few things that happened early in December, but the month really got going nearer Christmas when we headed over to San Diego for the holidays. Christmas day was spent at Sea World in the baking sun getting splashed by all kinds of sea life. The journey both ways was stressful with little cooperation from Marcus or Sophie, we will have to get a better plan for future trips.

Sneaky Marcus has been getting into no end of trouble this month, and seems to know just how far to push the limits we put on him. On our trip to San Diego we planned a lot of things around what he would like and it really is a pleasure to watch him having fun. He really enjoyed getting splashed at Sea World and watching all of the animals at San Diego zoo. His running and climbing abilities are both improving meaning that we are getting more exercise than ever to keep him in line.

Sophie

Sophie, the little wriggler has been exploring her world more and more this month and has developed her crawling abilities really well. She has also been trying to pull herself up on anything solid and would like to stand (This will take a lot more balance). Food wise Sophie has been devouring more and more solids, her favorites being banana and cheerios. Marcus has been posing no threat to this little girl and she can already get her way with a series of pulling and crying.
