Early in the month we spent a day at the natural history museum, down in DC. It was great to see so many special sights and to learn about what we were seeing. I especially liked the animals, but as you know, I have a thing for animals. Later in the month we decided to get some sunshine by heading out to San Diego to visit Aunty Nien-Chien. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and even some time getting our feet wet in the Pacific Ocean (which is pretty big). We also got to visit the world famous San Diego zoo, we had a great day walking around the animals and we even got to touch a few of them. At the end of the month we headed on another trip, this time to the UK for my Great Grandfather's 90th birthday. The journey was a little too long for my liking but the visit was nice and it was especially good to surprise the birthday boy on his big day, and to see so much family.
