Disney Cruise to the Bahamas with friends

Last Minute Cruise
We decided at the very last minute to take a four day Disney Cruise to the Bahamas; this meant that we got to surprise the kids and the friends that we would be cruising with. The drive to and from Florida was long but the cruise was fun and exciting.
Disney Cruise
Disney Dream
Disney Dream is a cruise ship operated by Disney Cruise Line, part of The Walt Disney Company, which entered service in 2011. The Disney Dream currently sails three and four-day cruises to the Bahamas. Her sister ship, Disney Fantasy, was deployed in 2012.
Nassau
Nassau is the capital, largest city, and commercial center of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The city has a population of 248,948 (2010 census), 70 percent of the entire population of the Bahamas (353,658). The city is located on the island of New Providence, which functions much like a business district. Nassau is the site of the House of Assembly and various judicial departments and was considered historically to be a stronghold of pirates. The city was named after Nassau, Germany in honor of William of Orange-Nassau.
Castaway Cay
Castaway Cay is a private island in the Bahamas which serves as an exclusive port for the Disney Cruise Line ships Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. It is located near Great Abaco Island and was formerly known as Gorda Cay. In 1997, The Walt Disney Company purchased a 99-year land lease for the cay from the Bahamian government, set to expire in 2096, giving the company substantial control over the guest experience on the island. A post office on the island has special Bahamian postage specific to Disney Cruise Line, and a "Castaway Cay" postmark.
